About the App

AllowanceGo is a budgeting and savings app designed to help families track goals, spending, saving progress, allowance and pocket money, and purchase impact.

The app may show estimates, projections, warnings, spending guidance, savings guidance, progress messages, and purchase-impact calculations based on information entered by the user.

Family Use

AllowanceGo is intended for family use and should be used with parent or guardian supervision.

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the app is suitable for their child and for supervising use of the app.

No Financial Advice

AllowanceGo is provided for general budgeting, savings tracking, and purchase-impact estimation purposes only.

The app does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or regulated financial advice.

Any figures, projections, warnings, categories, savings estimates, spending estimates, or purchase-impact results shown in the app are estimates only.

You remain responsible for your own financial decisions.

User Information

The accuracy of the app's estimates depends on the information entered into the app.

You are responsible for checking that any budgeting, saving, spending, allowance, pocket money, outgoing, transaction, or goal information entered into the app is accurate and up to date.

Local Data and Optional Cloud Backup

AllowanceGo stores core budgeting and planning information locally on your device.

AllowanceGo offers optional backup to the family's own Apple or Google account and an optional setting that keeps the family's own devices in sync. These features are off unless a parent or guardian turns them on and can be turned off at any time.

AllowanceGo does not provide accounts on developer-controlled servers and does not store family budgeting data on those servers. Backups are held in the family's own cloud account under Apple's or Google's terms and privacy policies.

If you delete the app, clear app data, or use an in-app reset or clear feature, locally stored data may be removed. Cloud backups remain until a parent deletes them under Backup history or through the applicable cloud-account controls.

Backups are a safety copy, not a guarantee. Keep separate copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Privacy

Your use of AllowanceGo is also subject to the AllowanceGo Privacy Policy.

The app does not show third-party ads, does not use Google AdMob, does not use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics, and does not include third-party tracking for advertising, cross-app profiling, or behavioural advertising.

Paid Features

AllowanceGo may be offered as a free app, a paid app, or an app with paid features.

Family Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional family features. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Its price and payment details are shown before purchase through the relevant app store.

The app store processes purchases, not AllowanceGo. A parent can restore Family Plus on another device using Restore Purchases, subject to the store's rules.

Every purchase and restore entry point uses a non-disableable parental gate. Parents and guardians remain responsible for app purchases and device-level purchase permissions.

AllowanceGo will not use paid features or purchase prompts in a misleading or deceptive way or design them to encourage accidental purchases by children or teens.

Refunds and Cancellation

Purchases, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, tax, and billing issues are handled by the store through which the app was obtained, under that store's policies. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Internet Connection and External Links

Some app features use an internet connection, such as checking for a newer store version, opening the app's store listing after a parental gate, uploading or downloading an opted-in backup, signing in to Google for Drive backup, making or restoring purchases, and receiving normal app-store updates.

These features do not send child profile names or budgeting, savings, spending, transaction, goal, chore, reward, mission-note, or avatar content to AllowanceGo's developer-controlled servers or purchase/update services.

You are responsible for any mobile data charges, roaming charges, or other fees charged by your network provider.

Where the app opens an external website, app store page, or third-party service, that external service may have its own terms and privacy policy.

App Licence

AllowanceGo is licensed to you, not sold.

You are granted a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use AllowanceGo on devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and any applicable app store rules.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app except where permitted by law.

App Availability and Updates

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of AllowanceGo from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or operating system version.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in AllowanceGo, including its design, content, branding, artwork, characters, graphics, and software, remain the property of the app owner or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AllowanceGo in a way that breaks the law, interferes with the app's normal operation, attempts to access systems or data without permission, infringes the rights of others, or misuses the app.

No Warranty

AllowanceGo is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees about the app, including that it will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, be error-free, or produce accurate results.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, savings, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use AllowanceGo.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for rights you may have under consumer protection laws that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
